Raymond E. Vanderpool, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2008. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio in 1935 to Elmer and Anna Vanderpool. In 1957 he married Helen, the love of his life, who passed away in 2002. Ray retired from Indiana Gear Works, and he loved to spend time with his family. Ray is survived his daughter, Melissa Vanderpool; sons, Marc (Victrina) Vanderpool (children Justin, Niko, Adrianna), Thomas (Tanya) Vanderpool (children Adri and Lytia); and sister Carolyn Sabadash. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th, from 3 to 5pm, with the funeral at 5:00 at Soldiers Memorial Chapel at Fort Harrison. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

WE WERE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT RAY. WE STILL THINK AND TALK ABOUT YOUR MOM AND HOW WE MISS HER. WE HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES WITH THEM WHEN WE WENT TO HAWAII.
